One day festival features today’s top emerging musicians and fine art

70+ local and regional artisans will feature their finest works during the 2nd Annual Harbor East Fine Arts & Music Festival. The free outdoor festival will include fine artists showcasing and selling their wares, street performers, a children’s art experience area plus, live performances by today’s top emerging musicians as chosen by WTMD-FM.

This summer Gran Bel Fisher was nominated as Yahoo! Music “Who’s Next? User’s Choice” artist and has had his work featured on Grey’s Anatomy and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.
New this year:

a street painting by world renowned painter, Michael William Kirby. The painting will take 4-5 days to create and grace the streets of Harbor East.
City Paper will feature an Emerging Artists Tent offering exposure to some of Baltimore’s most talented new artists
Plus, the ever-popular kids creation area featuring the Walters Art Gallery and Port Discovery. Kids will have the opportunity to use their hands and minds to create spectacular art!

  1. Sounds a billion times better than any of the shows I’ve been to/done… let’s hope a large man with lots of gold jewelry and a cigar approaches and offers you the coveted spot in a NYC gallery. And by that I mean good luck and have fun!
